"Two months ago, I started reading a book called Inherited Fate by Noémi Orvos-Tóth. The book explores transgenerational family trauma and helped me begin to understand some of my behaviours and emotional responses in certain situations.

It became the beginning of a long journey of self-discovery. During this time, I felt a strong urge to step outside my usual way of painting and explore abstraction. I changed direction and began experimenting with acrylic inks, layers of acrylic paint, texture and movement.

These paintings have become part of that journey. I don't begin with a fixed image or a clear destination. Instead, I allow the colours, marks and layers to guide me. Each painting evolves intuitively, revealing something unexpected along the way."
